The Financial Bin is a media company focused on personal finance and entrepreneurial education for the Generation Y age group. Started in July 2010, the Financial Bin strives to help people become financially self-reliant.

In November 2011, the Financial Bin released its first book, titled Entrepreneur Intervention: Triumphs & Failures of Entrepreneurs. The book is a compilation of stories from 28 remarkable entrepreneurs and business owners. Entrepreneur Intervention is a call to action for all ‘impact players’ out there and those who desire to be.

Going forward, the Financial Bin plans to center its mission around five factors:

1. Faith (In God, others, and yourself)

2. Family/Friends (Relationship-focus)

3. Fitness (Mind and body)

4. Finances (Money management, free of bad debt)

5. Freedom (The previous four factors equal your freedom and allow you to spend your time doing the things that matter to you)
