Here us out. Consider having a physical location for your business. There are a lot of scams on the internet, and people don’t know whom they can trust. If you have a physical storefront, your business seems more legitimate to consumers.
When you have a brick-and-mortar store, you can interact with your customers more and get a better feel for what they’re looking for. You have more opportunities to promote the online portion of your business. Additionally, if you happen to be out of stock of a particular product online, but it’s available in-store, your customers will have another opportunity to purchase it.
There is nothing worse on the internet than a site that says, “Coming Soon,” especially if it has been “coming soon” for a year plus. To stay relevant, you need to stay consistent. Don’t fall off and forget about posting on the site.
Simply posting your products and services is not enough. Consider adding a blog or a space where customers can share testimonials or comment on their favorite products and services. New content keeps you on that first page of Google, and that’s where you always want to stay.
Having an online business takes a lot of work because you need to always stay relevant, but as long as you continue to expand and maximize it, you’re headed in the right direction.
